What types of services do you provide?
CMS
provides a variety of services to the local church to enable
them to provide ministry with excellence
and integrity. These services
include:
- Staff
development and training
- Board
definition and training
- Staff
performance and evaluation
- Systems
evaluation and implementation
- Fiscal
systems evaluation
- Determining
the effectiveness of ministries within the church
Can
you help me design my infrastructure and create a new organizational
chart?
The
organizational chart is the most important ingredient to effectively
view the church
structure. CMS will
assist the Senior Pastor and/or
board to build an organization chart that
will not only serve the church in the short term but, also, design
growth for the future.
How
do I know if I have the right pastors
and staff in the correct positions?
CMS
will train the Senior Pastor and staff to use an evaluative
instrument to match
the personality
and
giftings of pastors and
staff to particular
assignments.
How
would you go about determining the church’s strengths
and weaknesses?
CMS
will interview the staff and pastors as well as key leaders
in your church.
The information
gained
from these
meetings will
be distilled
into a report for the Senior
Pastor and/or board to identify
the strengths
and weaknesses
of your
church
operation.
From this report
and interaction with your
leadership we will recommend changes for
the future.
Can
you help me write a vision statement for my church?
Proverbs
29:18 says “Where there is no vision, the people perish” Churches
must have a definitive, clearly stated vision
statement to guide the
leadership and
local body in
carrying out ministry
in an effective way.
CMS will help the Senior Pastor and/or
board to
write a vision statement
that will enable them to carry out
the heart
of the ministry.
My
attendance is declining and consequently fiscal
shortfalls are present.
Can
you help me?
A church
can only do as much ministry
as they
have
money.
CMS will help
you assess
expenditures
and determine
where
the available
resources can
be best spent to yield
the greatest
returns.
How
long does it normally take
to assess my
church’s operation?
The
time depends on the size
of the church and
the scope
of the
assessment. Typically,
a preliminary
assessment
can be
done in two to three days
with additional
follow-up
to be done depending
on the
needs of the organization.
Do you
work
with leadership
positions
other
than the Senior
Pastor?
CMS
works with
any
leader to assess
abilities
and
effectiveness
in
their position.
Is
there a
fee for
your service?
Yes.
Because we
are committed
to excellence
in the
body of
Christ and
are ministry
oriented, we
work out
our fees
individually with
the leadership
so that
our services
are affordable
to any
ministry.
What
types
of services
don’t you provide?
We
do not
offer financial
audits as
we are
not a C.P.A.
or accounting
firm.
Do you
provide a
follow-up report?
Yes.
We provide
a report that
details the
assessment of
what we
have been
contracted to
examine, as
well as
the recommendations
for change.
Is my
information kept
confidential?
Absolutely.
All information
is kept
in confidential
physical and
computer files.
The fact
that you
have consulted
with us
will never
be revealed
without your
permission.
